A Letter or Initial in your coffee grounds
A name surfacing — someone significant hinted at by a single first letter.
When the grounds form something like a letter, the cup is naming a person without naming them — an initial rising to the surface because they are on your mind or soon will be. It rarely spells the whole name; it offers the first clue and lets you finish it.
Read the letter beside its neighbours: an initial near a heart marks someone dear; near a road, a travelling companion; near a bell, the person whose news is coming. The cup speaks in first letters and trusts you to know the rest.
