The right hour arriving — timing, a matter resolving, a nudge to begin.
A clock in the grounds is the cup speaking about time itself: an hour is arriving that you have waited for, or a nudge that the waiting is the only thing left to end. It rarely marks lateness — more often, readiness.
Note the hands if you can see them. A clock near the rim says the moment is close enough to prepare for; deeper in the cup, the timing is longer but no less sure. Either way, the hour is on your side.
Is there a clock in your cup?
